            Today is our Anniversary,

            Such happy years we’ve had,

            28 years of happiness,

            Not one of them was bad.

            Our honeymoon was different,

            After the wedding and the fuss,

            80 people joined us,

            Not just the two of us.

            We went to America,

            On a bowling trip,

            We got champagne from the pilot,

            When someone let it slip.

            With all our friends around us,

            Well not the usual getaway,

            Our honeymoon was different,

            Something planned for every day.

            But it was really special,

            The start of a wonderful life,

            We found the perfect partnership,

            When we became man and wife.
