CELIA'S POEMS
No 218 October 21
Geoff and I
have coughs and colds,
We’ve gone
into self isolation,
These days
you just get used to this,
It’s self
administration.
Well I must
be Florence Nightingale,
If Geoff is
Nurse Gladys,
No worries
we are a good team,
We will get
over this.
We’ve
plenty of family around us,
Who are at
our beck and call,
They’ll
pass things through the window,
We won’t go
short at all.
As to what
we’ll do with our time,
You
shouldn’t have a doubt,
I’ll keep
Fingers on his toes,
While I
churn much more out.
So there’s
no need to worry,
You’ll read
what we have to say,
You know I
must keep busy,
Geoff says
”Please, not two a day”.
