CELIA'S POEMS
No 276 December 18
This year
has been horrific,
But I feel
we should be proud,
We’ve
handled all the dos and don’ts,
And not
gathered in a crowd.
All these
things seem easy,
But when it
goes on for so long,
You just
wish it was over,
‘cause
everything seems wrong.
But now
that help is on it’s way,
I think
it’s fair to say,
We’ve
handled it the best we could,
Whatever
came our way.
This will
go down in history,
We’ll have
been part of the “Silent War”,
It has
taken many lives,
And at the
moment taking more.
The NHS
were wonderful,
But
soldiers we had none,
Who needs
an army anyway,
Our bubble
still goes on.
