CELIA'S POEMS

            No 29   April 15          

            I’ve not been out now for a while,

            Many things have crossed my mind,

            I really have a problem,

            The answer I must find.

            Right now we have a virus,

            Filling us with dread,

            We’ve all had to stop going out,

            And stop at home instead.

            But if you look back weeks ago,

            Every day upon your screen,

            There’d be another bombing,

            And how many deaths there’d been.

            We’ve got to beat this virus,

            Right now it feels like never,

            Just think what we could achieve,

            If the world would work together.

            Because of this necessity,

            We get the whole worlds participation,

            Let’s pray this could continue,

            For our future generation.
