CELIA'S POEMS
No 339
February 17
I think
that most of you will find,
Though it
has been no thrill,
You’ve
tried to pass the long long weeks,
And learn a
different skill.
You’ve got
your house in order,
The
garden’s looking great,
So get that
thinking cap on,
And find
something to create.
You may
have started baking,
But if
you’ve to do it right,
And do as
silly Celia says,
And do it
through the night.
Your
baking’s turned out perfect,
But of
course you’ve got to taste,
It’s really
quite delicious,
But it ends
up on your waist.
You really
love this baking,
And of
course your coffee break,
But the
scales are shouting out at you,
It was a
big mistake.
Never mind,
you’ll soon be dancing,
And your
friends you’re going to meet,
The steps
may be a problem,
Hope your
brain will tell your feet.
