CELIA'S POEMS
No 341
February 19
My books
have gone to Italy,
My patience
is running out,
Geoff’s
here at the ready,
To get them
all sent out.
I can’t get
out, I’m stuck in here,
But my
books just took a break,
What were
the carriers thinking,
To make
such a big mistake.
I know that
you’re all waiting,
To see the
finished book,
Well I’m in
the same boat as you,
I haven’t
had a look.
Well now we
are expecting them
The day
Boris addresses the nation,
Just let’s
hope the books arrive,
And we’ve
cause for celebration.
We’re all
waiting for our new rules,
Let’s hope
they make some sense,
Just tell
us how it’s got to be,
Not keep us
in suspense.
I feel I’m
in a flock of sheep,
Say the
word and I just go,
Well my
time clocks working overtime,
For God’s
sake let us know.
