CELIA'S POEMS
No 342
February 20
I play a
game on my PC,
My Vegas it
is called,
I think it
must have been 5 years,
Since I had
it installed.
It doesn’t
cost any money,
It passes
time for me,
I
just have to do something,
I soon get
bored you see.
You collect
redeemable chips,
Then when
to Vegas we do go,
We can stop
at a hotel for free,
And go see
a great show.
This Covid
gets me oh so mad,
Although it
is unseen,
It’s made
us miss 3 holidays,
One in
Vegas I’d have been.
A year out
of my life has gone,
And though
we’ve managed well,
I still
long to be in Marco,
I miss the
place as you can tell.
Although my
back’s completely gone,
And to walk
I’m in such pain,
I still
feel very confident,
Geoff will
get me there again.
