For those 
of you who’ve loved my poems,
And said 
would I write a book,
At last the 
book is here with us,
So you can 
take a look,
The money’s 
all for charity,
So I hope 
it does do well,
And we’ve 
to get more copies,
So we’ve 
got lots to sell,
Geoff will 
be kept very busy,
There’s no 
doubt about that,
Now he 
won’t be known as “Fingers”,
More like 
“Postman Pat”,
The LDF do 
so much good,
To help 
anyone in trouble,
So I’m sure 
that we can help,
Me and my 
giant bubble.
I never 
thought I’d have a book,
Not bad at 
84,
The trouble 
is I’ve poems piled up,
There will 
have to be some more.
Of course I 
hope this soon will end,
But I will 
miss you all,
You’ve 
helped Geoff and me for all these months,
The worst 
we can recall.
As soon as 
Boris lets us out,
To the 
great grandkids we will go,
A big hug 
and cuddles,
Then we’re 
off to Marco.
