CELIA'S POEMS
No 346
February 24
For those
of you who’ve loved my poems,
And said
would I write a book,
At last the
book is here with us,
So you can
take a look,
The money’s
all for charity,
So I hope
it does do well,
And we’ve
to get more copies,
So we’ve
got lots to sell,
Geoff will
be kept very busy,
There’s no
doubt about that,
Now he
won’t be known as “Fingers”,
More like
“Postman Pat”,
The LDF do
so much good,
To help
anyone in trouble,
So I’m sure
that we can help,
Me and my
giant bubble.
I never
thought I’d have a book,
Not bad at
84,
The trouble
is I’ve poems piled up,
There will
have to be some more.
Of course I
hope this soon will end,
But I will
miss you all,
You’ve
helped Geoff and me for all these months,
The worst
we can recall.
As soon as
Boris lets us out,
To the
great grandkids we will go,
A big hug
and cuddles,
Then we’re
off to Marco.
