CELIA'S POEMS
No 351
March 01
It’s March
again, I’m glad to say,
We’re on
the big countdown,
Well we can
save some work for you,
No need to
go to town.
Every year
you rack your brains,
What can I
buy for mother,
Well this
year there’s no worry,
You needn’t
even bother,
I know your
mum will like it,
My book
that’s just come out,
She’ll love
to read the poems in it,
Of that
there is no doubt.
We usually
send the same thing,
Either
chocolates or flowers,
This book
she’ll end up reading,
And enjoy
for many hours.
It’s a
pretty book to look at,
With the
contents a keepsake,
The money’s
going to charity,
We’re
hoping lots we’ll make.
The flowers
and the chocolates gone,
They don’t
last forever,
Your
mother’s going to love it,
She’ll
think your choice was clever.
