CELIA'S POEMS
No 362
March 12
I must say
that I feel,
Now that
the end’s in sight,
We have got
to take things slowly,
Make sure
we get it right.
All the
rules we’ve had to live by,
Should not
be thrown aside,
We want to
get it right this time,
And not be
back inside.
So we’ll
keep the social distancing,
And the
hugs and kisses leave,
‘til we
know we have got there,
And the end
we can believe.
We can not
be just as we were,
Some things
will have to change,
And if we
want our freedom,
Our lives
must re-arrange.
We want to
see our friends again,
But really
dare I ask,
One thing I
haven’t mentioned,
Will we
still need a mask.
