Celia just 
having a laugh.
This week 
will be a milestone,
I’ve 
completed one whole year,
It’s kept 
us all together,
Although 
we’ve not been near.
It helps me 
to keep going,
When these 
poems I have to send,
I hear 
Ladbrokes are taking bets,
If I can go 
until the end.
So go and 
get your money on,
You know I 
won’t give in,
I’ve a very 
competitive spirit,
And always 
want to win.
But please 
don’t go to Ladbrokes,
Although on 
anything they bet,
I think I’m 
not just in there,
‘cause they 
don’t know about me yet.
Of course 
if they should see my book,
They’d lay 
good odds and maybe boast,
“An 84 
going all the way,
She’ll fall 
at the last post”.
Well as I 
said, they don’t know me,
But their 
eyes might leave their socket,
When all my 
“bubbles” collect their cash,
And they’re 
well out of pocket.
