CELIA'S POEMS

No 372          March 21

We all think the end is near,

It could be a month or two,

But we’ve all started making plans,

Of things we want to do.

This was just dropped upon us,

We hadn’t got a clue,

So get that bucket list started,

Everything you want to do.

It has made us start to think,

Round the corner we can’t see,

So do the things you long to do,

When at last we do get free.

When you look at the big picture,

We’re just here a little while,

So try to make every minute count,

So you’ll look back and smile.

When I look back at 2020,

A year of my life it took,

It’s also been a fruitful year,

It helped me write a book.

This achievement I could not have reached,

Without Geoff by my side,

Although it’s been a lousy year,

We’ll remember it with pride.
