June 7th

A few more at class this week, still quite a few missing but it’s what we have to expect at this time of year. Had a brand new dance for them this week, “STRIP THAT DOWN” choreographed by Maggie G & Tim Johnson, 64 counts, 2 walls, High Intermediate dance with 1 restart and an easy 8 count tag. Not the quickest of teaches, a few struggling in places but they all seemed to like it and I’m sure by next week they’ll all have it mastered. Looks like being a big hit with our class. Recapped last week’s dance “NANCY MULLIGAN” (Maggie G & Gary O), better response on this one this week. Also recapped “FOOLING AROUND” (Simon Ward & Julia Wetzel) plus a few others when needed.

Our next Social at Shelf Village Hall will be Saturday 17th June, all requests, buffet supper included, no bar BYO, everybody welcome.
