February 8th

Quite busy at class this week and quite a work out. Taught 2 new ones, first up was Rachael & Cody’s “OOPS BABY”, a 32count 4 wall Intermediate dance with one restart choreographed to “Oops” by Little Mix that seems to be filling the floor wherever we go. A few had already done it at other classes but were pleased they were getting the opportunity to dance it at ours. The other new one was Maddison Glover’s “DIG YOUR HEELS” a 52 count Phrased Intermediate dance choreographed to “Here’s To You & I” by The McClymonts. Do not be put off by the step sheet, it’s a lot easier than it looks, a great fun dance. Both these dances look like being big hits at our class. Recapped last week’s dance “SHADY” (Darren Bailey, Amy Glass & Fred Whitehouse), went through it thoroughly as we had a lot missing last week, another winner with our dancers. Also recaps of about another 5 of our recently taught dances.

We have our monthly Social at Shelf Village Hall this Saturday February 11th 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, admission includes buffet supper, no bar BYO, everybody welcome.  Please note also that we will be closed at Victoria Hall on Wednesdays February 22nd & March 1st due to holidays.
