March 26th

Had a good night at our Party night, don’t seem to get any drop in from other clubs these days but it was great to have Graham & Kathy come along to celebrate their Wedding Anniversary with us. Don’t normally teach anything on a Party night but decided to teach Pat Stott’s fun dance for the LDF “FALL IN LOVE”, was amazed that none of them had done it before at other classes. A great choice for a night where we don’t really want to spend lots of time teaching, and went down very well with our dancers. Did quick reviews of a few recently taught dances which included “ALL I CAN SAY” (Rachael McEnaney & Simon Ward), “HIT THE FLOOR” (Ria Vos) & “NEW YORK 2 LA” (Rachael McEnaney), all hits with our class. Had the usual fun quiz, 3 tied so had to have a tie break and Kath won, the stand up bingo prize of £34,00 was won by Carol and everybody enjoyed Celia’s home made buffet supper. Next Party night will be Wednesday June 25^th, everybody welcome.
