October 1st

Another great night at class this week, quite warm in the hall and had everyone tired out by the end. New dance was Kate & Rob’s “DIAMONDS & DUST” choreographed to “Love Runs Out” by One Republic, we had read and heard so many good reports about this dance and it certainly didn’t disappoint at our class, they loved it. It’s a 48 count, 4 wall Intermediate dance with one restart, one or two tricky bits in it to make it interesting and filled the floor all 3 times we danced it. Recapped last weeks dance “WOW HAWAII” (Rachael, Kate, Jo & John, Wil, Niels & Roy), going down really well with our dancers. Also recaps of  “YOU’LL BE OK” (Rachael McEnaney) & “BAILANDO AMOR” (Kate Sala) and a few other as and when needed.

Playlist for the night was :- Liquid Lunch, Dream Lover, Knocking On Wood, Timber, Truth Or Dare, Wow Tokyo, Fly High, Walking On Air, Something In The Air, Such A Fool, Alcazar, Belongs To You, Enigma, Outcast, One Track Mind, Diamonds & Dust (twice), I Got It Easy, Wow Hawaii (Twice), Light On, You’ll Be OK, Fireball, Young Blood, Bailando Amor, Borrow My Heart, Diamonds & Dust (again) & Everything Will Change.

Next week, Wednesday October 8^th it’s our 15^th Anniversary of  Best of Friends so we’ll be celebrating with a Party night. It’s 7.30 pm – 10.30 pm at our usual venue, Victoria Hall, Saltaire. Usual fun quiz, stand up bingo and home made buffet supper, everybody welcome, be great to see you there.
