September 6th

After such a great turn out last week, this week was probably the lowest since we moved to Victoria Hall 15 years ago, but we were aware that it would be quiet with holidays, illness etc. Nevertheless we had a great night and certainly very successful with the choice of dance, The new one this week was one we had learned at the weekend in Scarborough with Johnny Two Step, a fabulous Viennese waltz “TIME TO SURRENDER” choreographed by Rachael & Simon. The reception it got from our dancers was brilliant with every single person on the floor all 3 times we danced it. Recapped last week’s dance “NO SUN ON SUNDAY” (Niels Poulsen), the ones that are sticking with it are certainly enjoying it, as am I, I absolutely love it. Just quick recaps needed of “DELILAH” (Ria Vos) & “WANDERING HEARTS” (Maggie G & Gary O) both big hits with the class.

Our next Social at Shelf Village hall will be on Saturday 16th September, non stop dancing to your requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm and of course the ever popular home made buffet supper, no bar BYO. Everybody welcome. All details on our website.
